It was a slow three day weekend. Frigid temperatures kept us mostly indoors, except for a few bundled up walks around the neighborhood. On Monday, all three girls had dentist appointments. I tagged my husband, Arnauld, in to help with that.
When we got home, everyone was already bundled up, so we took another stroll around the neighborhood. When we got home, I warmed up some lunch for the girls, then said to Arnauld, “I’m going to go downstairs and do a workout….Want to come?” I didn’t expect him to say, “Sure,” but was happy to have his company.
“Dad and I are heading downstairs,” I told the girls who were all busy in their own activities. They all looked up, a bit puzzled. We’ve done workouts together before, but not since we moved to our new house. “Don’t get into trouble,” I warned.
Three minutes into the workout, Adi appeared with her Kindle in hand. I could tell she was making a video. “What are you doing?” I asked.
“Oh, you know. Just taking a video of you and dad….so you can go viral,” a mischievous grin creeping across her face.
Arnauld and I looked at each other and laughed.
Imagine that. Us going viral!
Also, what does Adi, our seven year old, know about going viral?!?

Hahaha! I would love to see that video. And where on earth do kids pick these things up? I know that my own two (slightly older) know a frightening amount. Glad you got out for a walk and in for a workout.

I notice you didn’t drop it here. I guess we’ll have to wait. Sarah took some video of me a few days ago because I took out some paper while I was figuring out a Wordle. “I suppose you’re posting this?” “Nope,” smiling, “just keeping it for the future.” I’m glad you captured this moment of someone capturing a moment.

I look forward to Wordle every day! Scrap paper is a great idea. I often wish I could see the letters in place before typing them in!

This is adorable. Sometimes the younger ones are the ones who create those viral videos, so be ready for fame!
